What we offer

The kitchen

Wood-fire oven, six-burner gas, a cold room, and a pass that looks onto the long table rather than away from it.

The fee

Fixed, paid half on arrival and half at the end. We cover travel from anywhere in Europe.

The room

Apothiki Thalassa, which has the only bath in the house. You will want it.

The team

A sous, a pastry hand three days a week, and Stamatia, who bakes at six and does not take instruction.

What we ask

A fortnight. A set menu you are willing to change when the boat brings something better. One sitting a night.

How to apply

Send us a sample menu — five courses, the way you would actually cook it here in the month you are proposing. Tell us what you would want from the garden and what you would bring with you.

We read every application, slowly, with a glass of something. We answer all of them, including the ones we turn down, and we tell you why.
