AffinerHouse is a restored cluster of three 19th-century farmhouses at the edge of Artemonas, Sifnos, ten minutes' walk from Apollonia and twenty from the sea at Kamares. Marina Patrikiou and her husband Renaud Brossard bought the property in 2017 — Marina returning from twelve years as restaurant manager at Le Calandre in the Veneto, Renaud closing his Lyon-based artisan-cheese maturing business, the affinage trade that gives the house its name. They spent two years restoring the buildings with local stonemasons, kept every original cypress beam, and opened to guests in spring 2020 — three weeks before everything closed. They reopened the following May with six rooms, a chef-in-residence calendar, and a long table that seats thirty. The idea is not a restaurant. It is a gue
